You can be salt and light and not present the gospel in every class. As far as I know, a teacher is able to share their faith if the student instigates the line of conversation.

If I understand your overall position, you are suggesting that Christian teachers should seek jobs in public schools, so that they can use their position of influence to try to convert the children in that classroom. Is that right?
