Boy, you're not kidding. I teach at a PreK-12 school. Although a lot of our 9-12 students are international boarding students (who are half a world away from their parents), we see a marked difference in involvement from middle school to high school, with the transition during 9th grade for our day students. Parents just check out. And I could probably argue that's when children need parents the most. I do far more parenting than teaching, it seems.

Thank you for the kind words Adam. I would indeed love to help anyone looking to do this type of seminar. It is a message that must be heard, understood, and taken to heart.
