thought provoking visual.

but, i think you mean enduring, not endearing.

endearing:
–adjective
1. tending to make dear or beloved.
2. manifesting or evoking affection: an endearing smile.

enduring:
–adjective
1. lasting; permanent: a poet of enduring greatness.
2. patient; long-suffering.

Yeah, agreed. I think I was playing with the word choice as I made the video. I was thinking something that endeared itself to a community. Like a church, endearing itself so that it would endure. But, as usual… I try to do it all in one take and it didn’t come out the way I wanted!

I thought the enduring/endearing wordplay was rather effective. Not only because it is by endearing that we endure, but also because the entire time your viewers are thinking “Did he mean endear or endure?” which leaves us concentrating on the very point you’re trying to make. ;-)

On a side note, I like this idea of brief video-casts from a trip. Thanks for sharing with us.
