Skitch is a lot of fun, good suggestion!

I'm really having a blast figuring out how to do time lapse movies. I kind of hope that as I perfect them I'll look back on these early efforts with a giggle!

I've been using dropbox for a while now and I agree, I have multiple systems (Mac, Linux, Windows) and its the easiest way I know to backup and sync files. I like Tinygrab but skitch (http://skitch.com/) is my goto app for screen capture. I don't have a Nikon but I am looking to get an updated digital camera. Love the time lapse vids, especially the one you posted the other day of San Diego.

CMD+SHIFT+4 also works in OS X for selective screen grabbing on its own, though there is not instant upload. In addition: a nifty little trick, if you CMD+SHIFT+4 and then press SPACE, OS X will automatically highlight only the current window you have the cursor over and copy just that.
