PeytonsucksWell, I wasted my time photoshopping this one up. I figured that Peyton would manage to choke away yet another big game. But, he beat the wrap and for the first time in his career is in a championship game. Congrats to him. Too bad he has to play the Bears!

For the next two weeks we’ll hear about how it’s "Peyton vs. the Bears defense" and "the pairing of the first two African-American coaches in the Super Bowl." Both of those are somewhat interesting. But two weeks of hype is a bit much to stomach.

Hate away. Not as if this type of “objective criticism” is anything new.

It’s “rap,” by the way.

I don’t get the photo? Are you alluding to the fact that Dan Marino never won a Super Bowl? That one hurts.

Think of what it would have been like if the Saints would have made it…the whole Katrina story over again…and again…for two weeks.

That’s exactly what I was comparing to. But my plan got foiled by Peyton doing what he had always failed to do… win the big game. If Peyton had choked on that final drive, the comparison’s to Marino would have been strong. I had my graphics ready to go for that comparison… so I figured I’d throw it out there in jest.

Peyton can change all of that perception by winning. But I doubt he wiil. The man choked in just about every big game in college and in the pros. I think he will again.
