As i type this I have a new friend all around me. She is jumping on my back, on the keyboard, exploring the basement, and running all over the place.
Her name is Violet. She is our new 4 month old female kitten. Violet rocks! She is so docile and nice to the kids… it’s actually amazing. Another family had to give her up since the dad had been diagnosed as an asthmatic. There were 4 rough and tumble boys playing with her when we went to go meet her. So I knew right away that she’d be a good fit for our house.
Megan is warming up to Violet. She wanted to name her purple… but then settled on Violet. (Her old name was Halo. Too boy for our house!) Paul is just happy about everything. But he especially is into the cat.
I am so happy that the kids will have someone to keep them company. Let’s just hope it all works out.
