24 hours

The last 24 hours have been pretty peachy. We took LF curling yesterday in Detroit… This was one huge surprise hit. I will only say about my experience that the game is much harder in real life that it is on TV.

When we came back we went to a church family’s Christmas party. This was actually a really good time. I was tired when I got there but ended up having a blast. I was the first to come and the last to leave. Of course, the van was blocked in the whole time so I didn’t have much of a choice.

This morning at church, everything went really well. Sunday school was simple, but I gather it was well received. I spent a lot of time hitting hard the respect issue with parents. Apparently, this was a message well received as I found this note in a blog this afternoon.

I’m sorry your having such a bad day. Today in Sunday school Adam talked about rules and how they seem so stupid now, but they do have a purpose…And more then likely…10 years down the road you’ll thank your parents for having rules like that even if they do seem stupid now. And I’m sure your family doesn’t hate you….Yeah, they don’t. Well anyways…I hope the rest of your Christmas break goes well. I love you.

Apparently someone was paying attention. That’s always encouraging.
