Check out this time lapse of a day of tourists re-enacting the cover of The Beatles album, Abbey Road. Both the joy and annoyance of living near a tourist photo opportunity is on display! Kristen and I have learned that if we dare to take our camera with us to Balboa Park we will be taking pictures of tourists all day!

The people in the cross walk have the right away. In USA anyhow. But the people in the middle of the road do not. If it was me, I’d hit them. Not the christian thing to do, but their decision wasn’t the smartest thing to do!

the guy who dropped trou was the best. what the heck???
thats pretty amusing. -
It’s funny b/c a lot of those people probably thought re-enacting that cover for a picture was a clever and original idea.

Must be frustrating to know you have to drive through that intersection!
-
Those who drive that intersection on a daily basis must anticipate potential delays.
I doubt those people think they are being original unless they have lived under a rock.
If I were to visit I would get over myself, do the same thing and enjoy it. When a visitor, delight in being a visitor – just don’t be too loud and obnoxious about it.

@geoff- I’m with you. I’d want to take the picture too.
I kind of wondered about all of the people who almost got hit by cars!

too funny! if i was there visiting, i’d be doing the same thing, except for the mooning part. 🙂

The mooning part made me giggle. Like… what in the world?
