  • Born Dropped Out

I found these videos fascinating. There is a guy doing some research on children of hippies and how they’ve prospered or struggled. The researcher asked the participants to answer 20 questions on video in a self-produced kind of way.

Quick disclaimer, I have watched a couple of them so I can’t guarantee that if you watch the whole series they will all be wholesome. Keep watching at your own risk.

  • World’s Largest Tongue

OK, so this is kind of gross. And it totally makes me think of KISS. And I have no idea what language they are speaking or what they say. But what I do know is that this dude has a seriously large tongue.

Speaking of long tongues, I saw this as well.

  • Drag and drop world

For those of you who like to think of the world in computer terms, you will love this. I love this style of animation!

  • Cardboard Testimonies: What is yours?

Check out this powerful video from Hillside Christian Church in Texas.

If you were to write your testimony on a cardboard cut-out, what would you write?

  • Because I’m pretty much amazing

It’s impossible to wrap-up five years of ministry. There are too many memories. Too many good times. Too much fun. Too many 6:00 AM Bible studies. Too many tough times. Too many scary phone calls. But you can try. And some of my former students did a very nice job putting together this video for me on my last “official day” as a pastor in Romeo. They know I’m not sappy and teary. But I am sentimental… I love this video. It’s super cool.

While ministry in Romeo has come to an end… two things are worth saying. First, I’m not done in ministry, I am not hanging up my Pastor super-hero costume just yet. Second, being done at Romeo doesn’t mean you’re going to see me on “Pastor’s Gone Wild.” I’ll be the same person when I wake up in the morning that I’ve been for the last 5 years. I have the same passions. I will think the same things. I will be invested just as much in the lives of students and parents. I’ll just have a slightly different focus and zip code.

And the deal for these former students remains open… if they can survive the sex talk and other fun parts of pre-marital counseling, I’ll happily come back to perform their weddings.

  • Disco Bears

Who says scientists don’t like to have fun? This video proves two things. First, scientists really are stuck in the 70s. Second, you cannot stop the power of disco.

  • Raiders & 5 Million Legos

I think this has to do with some sort of marketing campaign or something. But what do you do with a boulder made of legos and a hill in San Franscisco? You reinact a scene from Raiders of course.

  • Using CCTV to Your Advantage

CCTVHere in the USA, these pesky cameras are popping up all over. But they’ve been around for a longer time in the United Kingdom. Check out what this band did with some CCTV cameras and the Freedom of Information Act.
