Last night was the staff Christmas party. We all met at Palazzo di Bocce in Lake Orion. It was a terrible journey there since it was snowing very hard and the salt trucks hadn’t been out yet, but I managed to get Big Sexy over there without too much difficulty.
Bocce is fun. I’ve played before, but this was my first time on a hard court. It was such a finesse game and involved much more skill than I was capable of. I can see how people could get addicted to it… But I wasn’t!
Dinner was fantastic. We ordered family style and every single thing they brought to us was incredible. I especially liked the veal and the chicken fettecini alfredo. We all left full beyond belief.
More than that, it was amazing to have everyone together. I loved that point of connection and the joy we all experienced in being together.
