grad school update

I got my grade for my first semester of grad school at Huntington College. I have earned an A- in my first class. Not too bad for a kid destined for failure or maybe a couple of years at a community college.

Here’s the prof’s comments for my last paper:

Thanks for the honest of your note. You DID bite off a lot, and it is to your credit that I read it thinking, “we could explore this deeper” or, “this is really important and needs further thought.” Maybe you should keep your finger on some of this as a potential culmination project.But it WAS a decent contribution to our class. More comments coming as I send it to your classmates, but for now just know that I give you a B on the paper (mostly for tardiness). Your overall grade in the class is an A-.

I’ll take it. Praise God that it’s over and I can now move on.
