Have you read the book, “The Last Disciple,” by Hank Hanegraaff? If so, what’s your take? I only ask because it’s shaken up my own eschatalogical views…

If you know Christ as savior and Lord, the meaning of life is to do the will of the Father. Generally this could be summarized as “Love God and Love People, Make disciples.”
If you don’t know Christ… the meaning of life could be anything you want it to be.

I haven’t read the book. But since we both share the pre-trib/pre-mil viewpoint… I would probably agree with a lot of what he writes. (Though I would hardly call myself a fan.)
amie- since I haven’t seen the movie, it’s tough to comment! I tend to like comedies… and that didn’t look so funny.
I did hear that they really stretched the biblical account… kind of like left behind.
Not sure why the questions stopped… since my class is so boring, I’ve got plenty of time to answer!

gman, I know what you mean by schooling. every time I go down there I think to myself, “why the heck am I doing this?” Everything is such a struggle to get done.
The biggest answer I can give to myself is simply that I have more to learn. Having the MA will put me in places even in my current function that my BA won’t allow me. Some guys are talented and that talent opens doors… for me it is going to have to be education opening those doors. (Notice how non-Predestination I am! Wow… )
