For a long time I’ve joked that one day soon Hillary Clinton will run for president and Oprah Winfrey will be on her ticket. Not only is Oprah not running in 2008, she is suing the pants off of some poor guy who is suggested she run. As I read the legal notices sent by Oprah’s lawyers to this guy on The Smoking Gun it made me kind of sad.
While I understand the business end of protecting your property (Yes, Oprah has a trademark on the word "Oprah.") it’s pretty sad that this guy put out some money to make some pennies off of her fame… and ended up losing everything… $65,000. You would think that since she is worth hundreds of millions of dollars, she would at least pay the guy something for the website www.oprah08.net.
It only proves my point that Oprah is the anti-christ. I think her and Martha Stewart will try to take over the earth. 🙂
