Just found this and I thought it was worth passing along. This would be perfect for anyone raising money for anything. Mission trip. Camps. College education. Pointless computer upgrade. It’s pretty slick. What I really like about it is that it’s a widget that people can take from your site, if they believe in it, and put it on their site really easily. I would like to introduce you to another company that uses widgets for online non-profit fundraising. http://www.Firstgiving.com is a website that helps you create a free personalized online fundraising page. Firstgiving is partnered with GuideStar, a national registry of nearly 2MM non-profits, and so through Firstgiving you can raise money for any registered non-profit. Another fantastic Firstgiving attribute is the fact that all funds are directly sent to the non-profit, so you don’t have to worry about where the money is going or set up a paypal account and then transfer the funds.
