Tonight is our first MarriedLife at Romeo. ML is a quarterly "living room environment" for married folk at the church. It’s a night to come together and laugh, learn, and enjoy one another’s company. Going into it… my hope is that it’s something that stands out that we do really well. (Like MainStreet)

Yeah, what does that mean for me? Leading up to this we’ve done some major tech upgrades. I haven’t been involved in a lot of the installation, but I’ll be in charge of using all the new equipment when it’s set up. We’ve added 2 banks of lights. (3 more banks to come as 2007 progresses, infrastructure in place) We’ve added 2 more monitor channels. (Doesn’t matter much for the audience, but to musicians this is huge) And we put in a new projector this week. (Everyone will notice how much brighter that is right away) Looking back, this was way more work than I thought it would be. But the payoff is going to be great. While on a typical Sunday these upgrades won’t be hugely noticeable, events like MarriedLife will really pop.
