This is John Edwards. He’s a senator from North Carolina and he looked incredibly stupid on CNN this morning. He was there talking about his new plan to stop or slow global warming. Which sounds good… until you see what he’s really made of.
John Edwards suggests that all Americans make their homes energy efficient, be conserving power, and do anything we can to have a smaller "footprint" on the planet. Sounds like a reasonable plan coming from a Democrat whose riches came from chasing ambulances.
The problem? He’s not doing it himself. This is John Edwards home that he is having built in North Carolina. (Get this, he only lives there part time… Edwards has another home in the Washington, DC area) 28,000 square feet doesn’t sound like a small footprint to me. I don’t care how energy efficient your home is… you don’t need 28,000 square feet to live part time. The anchor on CNN mentioned this and you could see the popularity numbers dive on Edwards face. He knows his lie will cost him. How can he possibly ask people to conserve when he is building this beast of a home? Or is it that he’s asking people to do something he himself is unwilling to?
This country needs a man of integrity to run their country. Mr. Edwards, this isn’t a good sign.
