Children of the 80s Unite

This is 30 minutes of the cartoon intros that ruled our lies. How many of us had to run home from school to catch Duck Tales and GI Joe?

When I was in day care we used to play He-Man/She-Ra. I always got to be the the Sorceress, but I secretly wanted to be She-Ra cuz she was hotter. Although, at this point in my life, I think the Sorceress is cooler, even though She-Ra’s got flowy hair and a cool pegasus. It’s all about the Pegasus.

I remember the day I got my She-Ra doll and a Spirit Horse for her to ride on (its wings even came on and off…pretty cool). It was like like one of the greatest days of my childhood life.

Does anyone remember when Launchpad went over to “Darkwing Duck”? I loved Darkwing Duck.

I never knew there was a Legend of Zelda TV show! I only had the stupid game where Link always died.

Heehee…is it sad that I still know all the lyrics to the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” song?

Did I miss “Thundercats”? (I skipped around a bit.)

Thanks for posting this, Adam. It made me smile brightly! Man, I miss the 80’s. That’s when they made all the good cartoons. They should make a TV channel of nothing but 80’s cartoons.
