Speaking & Training Opportunities

This year I’ve ramped up the amount of speaking, training, and consulting that I’m doing with organizations, churches, and individuals. 

Not to sound cheesy– but it’s fun seeing how God mashes up my skills and passions to help people practically.

And not to sound self-promotional– but this is my blog and I don’t know any other way to do it.

Here are some examples of what I’ve been doing or have cooking.

• Parent training on content from the book, A Parent’s Guide to Understanding Social Media. 
• A half-day parent training called, “The Best Ever Parent Training Ever“
• Media training for organizations. (Shooting video, equipment use, video editing, creating marketing, etc.)
• Creative planning, ideating, dreaming, discerning new ideas.
• Developing events ideas, event planning, event marketing.
• Hodgepodge of everything in a day of whatever you want. (Let’s be honest, that’s about what happens even if the lead reason I’m coming is one specific thing.)

Three Ways to Bring Me Out

I love doing this kind of stuff. And you’ll quickly learn that I don’t have a set way of doing anything. So let’s get creative and make it happen.

So, nuts and bolts, here’s the ways you can bring me out.

1. Straight-forward – We can work together to find a date and I can come to you. 
2. Piggyback – We can talk about a time when I’ll already be in your area. This can really cut down on travel expenses for you. (See below for specific dates/locations I’m looking for piggyback stuff. But if you ever see I’m in your area, hit me up.)
3. Online or you can come to me – I’m doing more and more training and consulting on the phone, via Skype or Google Hangouts. Along the same lines, I live in San Diego (a pretty awesome place, if you ask me) and you’re welcome to come to me. So instead of paying for me to travel to you, you could use that same money to come to me.

Specific Dates and Locations

For the dates below, I’m already traveling there with something that’s covered my travel. So this is the cheapest possible way to have me come to you for speaking, training, consulting.

July 6 – Chicagoland area

October 27 – Seattle area

November 17 – SF Bay area

February 9 – Boston area

February 23 – Detroit Metro area

More General Dates & Stuff

September – I’ve got availability midweek most of the month. I’d prefer something that doesn’t involve overnight travel, but I’m open to ideas.

December – I’ve got availability but prefer if it’s in Southern California… unless it’s somewhere really cool!

Early 2014 – I have some things booked, but this is a great time to start thinking about it.

No, I can’t do it for free. But I’ll work with you to make sure we can agree on costs that are a win for both of us.
