  • First Semester Spanish Love Song

I was just going to put this on my "shared links" to the left, but this is so good I want to make sure you watch it. This makes two funny videos in a row for those who are keeping track at home.

This is also a good time to remind my audience that I got a D- in Spanish at Moody. Second semester I applied myself more and got a D. I’m happy to report I can translate all of these silly statements.

  • 10-20-30 Tag

Mykel tagged me and this one is pretty fun. So I’ll play along.

Kristen and I were newly married and living a few blocks north of Moody as she finished her senior year. As we joke, she was late to a lot of classes back then. I was working for BlueCross and had just gotten hired full time. Kristen and I were attending Calvary but were barely involved. I remember one Sunday we took the train past our stop after church to go to a pet store and found ourselves right in the middle of the gay pride parade. That was pretty funny… a yuppy married couple with their bible’s walking past the gay pride parade. Man, we had fun the first year we were married. Every day was an adventure.

I was in 5th grade at Swanson Elementary School in South Bend, Indiana. I was just getting settled into Swanson as my mom moved us out of the city and to Granger that summer. I had Mr. Hemminger for 5th grade. All I really remember from that year was his teaching us how bad smoking was by making some contraption where a bowl smoked itself.

I was about 18 months old and don’t remember a thing. Pretty sure I was learning to read by then. I know I was working on calculus by 2 so I had to be wrapping up geometry.

I’m tagging Jeremy, Raitz, and Todd.

  • David Crowder’s New Toy

This has been making it’s way around the blogosphere. I’m looking forward to seeing this addition to the keytar Mr. Crowder is infamous for. Ladies and gentleman it is true. DCB is hooked on Guitar Hero.

  • At the gate with coach dungy

So kristen and I are sitting and waiting for our flight back to flint. I’m doing normal stuff like charging my phone and we had a bite to eat.

I am sitting here watching the game (NO vs SEA.. at a stadium we just drove by this morning) when I realiE that the family watching the game near me is tony dungy, head coach of the indianapolis colts. (they had the week off)

so, its not a huge deal. I respect coach as a strong man of faith… a guy who pulls no punches in his claims for Christ.

I think its pretty cool. and I think it is cool that folks are giving his family some space as they travel.

  • Super Pastor

In honor of Pastor Appreciation Month. Really guys… the limo picking me up for church was a little too much. But the steak dinners are always appreciated. Mucho gracias.

  • The Gay Buffer: video explanation

Finally someone has taken the gay buffer and made a video so that everyone can understand. This explains, to some detail, the effects of breaking the code in the potty.

Since this involves potty humor… I’m going to make people who want to see the video click "read more…" for those on a feed… you’ll have to come check it out.
