Another good day here in South Florida. Not much on the docket except a trip to Cold Stone (Paul fell asleep and I’ll be taking him as soon as he wakes up.) We did go to church at Calvary Chapel Sawgrass and also spent most of our day in the pool. OK, so my white skin is starting to feel that!
Church was OK. Very different service from Romeo. They had a full rock band that only did 2 songs and then the pastor preached for about 80 minutes! Yuck.

Fortunately, no one died. It was actually a pretty good message… just way too long. He is a very good bible teacher. At the beginning he got interupted by a member who asked him a question about their world vision project which he took about 10 minutes to address. (I thought it was staged at first, but was a genuine interuption!) At the end of that he said “well, I have about a 90 minute sermon to do here so I better get going” and I thought he was joking until I realized I was the only one who laughed out loud.
Overall, they were really nice people.
Sorry I couldn’t hook you up with something better. AT least you will appreciate your home church more.
Hope your vacation finishes well. We just did one and went to the doctor 9 times in 3 weeks. Talk about yuck.
