I watched the State of the Union tonight. There were at least 2 hours of lead up before the speech and an hour or more of post-game coverage. All of the hopefuls for 2008 lined up to talk on all the networks. All of the networks continued their intense bashing of the president.
I have to say this. I really wish I cared about the politics of the country right now. But I don’t. There is no leader that has captured my attention. No one is speaking the language I want to hear. And so, while I will watch and while I will play along in the political water cooler talk, I just don’t care all that much.
