I guarantee from now on presidential candidates will make sure their VP choice looks nothing like an SNL cast member.

Even though I am not her biggest fan, I can’t but help at cringe at the damage this must be doing to the McCain campaign. It seems almost unfair – not nearly many people would have seen that interview if SNL hadn’t done a skit on it, and she would have been able to shrug it off as a freshman mistake and move on. Now that SNL is drawing all this attention to it, it’s turned into a BIG DEAL.

It’s funny SNL went through all the trouble to put together this skit when all they had to do was add a studio audience to the original interview, it was funny enough to begin with.
I can’t wait to see what she does at the debate tonight. Should make for some good material for more skits.
